Warning Notice - Mizuho Mergers & Acqusitions

Mizuho Corporate Bank of California has advised the Department of Financial Institutions that a fraudulent website exists under the name Mizuho Mergers & Acquisitions http://mizuho-mna.com/index-2.html; phone: 81-3-4520-8971; fax: 81-3-6730-9542.  It purports to offer financial products and services while requesting information from prospective targets which appears to be a phishing scheme.

The site falsely claims that the company representative is Mr. Takashi Tsukamoto, who actually is the Chief Executive Officer of Mizuho Financial Group.  Furthermore, the address provided is the actual physical address of the parent of Mizuho Corporate Bank of California, Mizuho Corporate Bank, Ltd.
