    Application Process Reminder

    Applicants are reminded that applications should be send to DFI’s Strategic Support Unit in the San Francisco office, regardless of the financial institution’s location. This will ensure that they are processed in an efficient and timely manner. Applications that are to be filed in this manner include:

    • New institution (bank, money transmitter)
    • Merger
    • Conversion to state charter
    • Acquisition or sale of business unit
    • Acquisition of control
    • Sale of securities

    The Strategic Support Unit also receives notices regarding the establishment, relocation and discontinuance of bank branch and facility offices. Send applications and notices to:
